2023 Alberta Provincial

Election Priorities

Alberta Canola represents over 12,000 canola farmers in Alberta on provincial, national and international issues.

The Alberta Canola Producers Commission, founded in 1989, was the

province’s first refundable checkoff producer organization.

The mission of Alberta Canola is to support the long-term success of canola farmers

in Alberta through research, extension, public engagement, and advocacy.

Alberta Canola works to effect change on policy matters important to canola farmers.

“Yellow” is the new “Green”

The canola industry’s story is positive!

Canadian made, healthy food, economic driver & good for the environment

Increased “Red” Tape means less “Yellow” Flowers

Government policies and programs are making it harder to run a successful farm

“Yellow” fields are more productive than “Grey” areas

Loss of prime agricultural land will have uncertain repercussions for generations to come.
